April 15: $15 & Fairness Day of Action - TORONTO

Activists in the Greater Toronto Area will be joining the provincial & pan-Canadian day of action in the Fight for $15 & Fairness!

Join us for a rally at the Ministry of Labour (400 University Ave, Toronto) at Noon to 1 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016.

The Ontario government is reviewing our labour laws & we expect the recommendations to start coming out this spring.

Join us in sending the government a strong message that we need decent work in Ontario: fair wages & scheduling, paid sick days, better regulation of temp agencies & sub-contractors, access to unions, real enforcement & respect at work!

In this uncertain climate look to the resilience of nature and how it is adapting. We too must adapt to changing political and social climates. We all have the right to engage in political action. Let us not allow the recent chill in freedoms felt around the world to deter us from engaging in a constructive response to meeting the needs of public interest.
